Distinguished Speakers and Guests
The program will feature prominent leaders at the forefront of the global social justice movement:
* Kshama Sawant: Renowned socialist leader and former Seattle City Council member. Ms. Sawant spearheaded the historic, first-of-its-kind legislation in Seattle to recognize caste as a protected category, setting a precedent for civil rights across the United States.

* Indian Stone Workers Alliance of America (ISWAA): Representing workers facing severe health hazards and systemic caste-based discrimination, the alliance will share insights into the intersection of labor rights and social equity.

Program Highlights
The anniversary celebration will include a series of keynote addresses, cultural performances, and community-led discussions. These sessions are designed to reflect on Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and its profound relevance to modern struggles against systemic injustice and inequality.

This event serves as both a tribute to a global icon and a call to action for the South Asian diaspora and  local communities to build a more inclusive and equitable society.
